The amazing views from the King Suite with Balcony, coupled with the cozy breakfast experience. Complimentary snacks and a relaxing evening fire pit significantly enhanced the atmosphere.

Few amenities appeared outdated, diminishing the overall luxury experience.

Extremely spacious and unique room provided with a great view of WISP, goodies and the fireplace. Exceptionally nice and stunning location in McHenry, near McHenry, the Lake Pointe Inn and the slopes.

Plentiful and delicious breakfasts, and affable staff.

Extremely spacious room with extremely comfy bed and smoke detectors for safety measures. Gorgeous view and a shower, hair dryers and terry cloth robes in the bathroom.

Can recommend for a short stayover

Cozy room, attentive staff, the wonderful daily boat ride made our experience extra special, especially with complimentary happy hour snacks and the close proximity to the slopes perfect for winter sports enthusiasts.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Had a fantastic group trip! After exploring waterfalls at a great state park, we relaxed at a hotel with a fire pit by the lake. The breakfast options were varied, and every meal was delicious! Plus, we enjoyed morning coffee while taking in beautiful views.

After an amazing day at Swallow Falls State Park chasing waterfalls and hiking, we wrapped up our adventure by the outdoor fire pit at the inn. The boys loved the delicious cookies and the great view of the lake while enjoying the complimentary snacks at happy hour.

My kids wished for more outdoor activities for families.

The breakfast options were very nice, especially the homemade sourdough toast and fresh avocado toast. I loved the boat rides and relaxing evenings on the porch overlooking deep creek lake.

Scott and his staff provided really good service. The gourmet breakfast options were excellent, with eight choices available. I enjoyed the complimentary boat ride across the lake. This lovely spot has cozy rooms with a charming atmosphere. It was a good stay 😊

Really good breakfast options made mornings good.

We were disappointed by the lack of privacy due to the neighborhood. It felt a bit uncomfortable at times. There was an inconvenience when we noticed some outdated amenities that weren't in the best condition. Unfortunately, we also found a few cleanliness issues in our room that affected our overall experience.

Enjoyed wine tasting at 4 PM by the lakeside, very relaxing. Bring some snacks for the fire pit. It's perfect for evening s'mores.

We savor our two nights in the King Suite with Spa Bath. The evenings by the cozy fire pit, roasting marshmallows, were magical. The daily boat rides and fresh cookies always made our return nice. Don't miss the delicious breakfast options and the serene porch views-a perfect start to your day!

The location is fine. Sitting on the porch overlooking the lake seemed like paradise. The atmosphere is cozy. Bedding in the Buffalo Marsh Suite is so comfortable-perfect after a busy day. Breakfast is served like a gourmet affair, with the sourdough waffle being a standout. The happy hour offers self-serve baked goods 24/7, which I loved! Engaging conversations with Scott, the owner, added a personal touch to my stay. One issue I encountered was the cleanliness of the balcony. It had not been maintained well. While many amenities are advertised, I found some activities unavailable . My overall experience was fantastic. Just a few tweaks could make it even better.

Staying in the Browning Room was a highlight, with fine lake views through large windows and a cozy sitting area with a fireplace. The delicious made-to-order breakfast, especially the avocado toast, added a flavorful touch to our mornings. The bathroom was standard-sized, which might not satisfy those seeking more space, and noise from other guests was a slight distraction. The outdoor furniture could have been better maintained, affecting our plans to utilize the balcony.
